Allendale is home. Charles and I raised our three daughters here. On the school board, I voted for our first Early Childhood Center and led the Early College Initiative. I’ve also lived with a rare illness and know how much a family can carry. I’m running because the decisions made in Lansing reach into our homes every day. I want families here to have a voice in them.

On the Allendale school board, I voted for our first Early Childhood Center and led the Early College Initiative. I’ve practiced law, taught bioethics at GVSU, and worked on planning for our township. That work keeps bringing me back to the same question: what will this decision mean for the people who live here?
